Boat Basin Bar
|
|
|
Nice bar just because of the environment. It has nothing to do with the food or the selection of drinks or the prices. Matt, feel free to take for your friendster page, and retire your JHS picture.

Pat yourselves on the back, drink that extra sip, sleep that extra hour 'cuz you deserve it. Congrats to all fellow 1Ls on finishing your first year. Thanks for all your smiles and good cheer to help make the long days so much more enjoyable. Thanks especially to everyone in Section E.
These are all the pictures (good and bad) taken after the K final. Feel free to share comments.

Center for American Progress has a really informative website that
catalogues the Bush Administrations inconsistent record on Iraq,
defense, and the economy. Great references. I know I'm preaching to the choir
but maybe some of you will preach to friends (of voting age) in PA, MN, FL,
OH, etc...you know, the greenish states? what color do you get mixing red
(gop) and blue (demo)? green, right?

If those Ziploc commercials have taught me anything, it's that yellow
and blue make green. I think red and blue make purple.
Also, my email program automatically capitalized Ziploc. There, it did
it again! Corporate America is watching!

Now I'm addicted to seeing what Outlook thinks is important enough to
capitalize. Maybe it knows which things are actually trademarked? Or
it's like Google where it somehow tracks what's hot at the moment?
Here is Kleenex, hoover, Ziploc, Toyota, audi, Nissan, sony, Microsoft,
apple, linux, dvd, metallica, Liberace, Madonna, cher, pope, gorbachev,
Clinton, bush, millard fillmore, Tokyo, Phnom penh, Dublin, jesus,
mohammed, allah, Britney spears, mcdonalds, starbucks, seattle, kofi
annan, united nations, internet, bible, excel, outlook, schadenfreude,
joie de vivre, Parthenon, Athena, Buddha, aeneas, dido, iliad, odyssey,
congress, supreme court, white house, Hollywood, bollywood, capitalism,
communism, scientology, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Jainism,

The World Through a Child's Eyes
|
|
What I love about kids is that they view things as if they are viewing them for the first time. Through their eyes the world is free from the taint of corruption, evil, and cruelty. Everything is free from judgment. The world is just what it should be.
The above pictures are from the POV of a 4 year old boy. I gave him a camera and allowed him to freely take pictures. He took these pictures until his attention drifted to something else.

but I love my friends. I took the first picture on the 59th St. Bridge at the tail end of my walk over it. I think the picture is of First Avenue looking uptown. The second picture was a stupid picture that I took on self-timer and slow exposure after a few drinks at Lava Gina.
